Making the clinic COVID-Safe
At Hookwood Chiropractic Clinic, we take patient’s safety very seriously so have strict rules and protocols in place to minimise infection risk.
All patients will be screened before being offered an appointment to ensure extra care is taken if they are classed in the vulnerable category.
Patients will be sent a COVID-Screening questionnaire before EVERY appointment and this MUST be completed before you can attend.
Please remain in your car or wait outside until your appointment time.
Do not arrive early, you will not be able to wait inside.
Do not arrive more than 5 minutes late, otherwise we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Stick to appointment time length and leave promptly after you have been seen. This reduces risk of exposure, prevents crossover with others and will allow for adequate cleaning time in between patient appointments.
Patients must attend appointments on their own.
At the door you will have your temperature taken before you enter.
MASKS or FACE COVERINGS MUST BE WORN when entering the clinic.
The Chiropractor will be in PPE including mask & visor/goggles and disposable apron & gloves.
Please respect the two-metre social distancing rule outside of the treatment rooms.
Sanitise your hands on entering and on leaving the clinic.
Changing rooms are currently out of bounds, instead patients are asked to wear clothing suitable for treatment without a gown eg; camisole top, shorts, leggings.
We request that, where possible, patients do not use the toilet.
Avoid touching any surfaces or door handles during your visit.
There will be no receptionist so the treatment room door will be left open to maintain adequate ventilation within the treatment room.
The treatment room will be cleaned and sanitised thoroughly between every appointment.
Do not bring unnecessary belongings, a small handbag is acceptable.
Payment is either by taking two contactless card payments, via ApplePay or GPay or we can store card details securely on your patient file via the payment platform Stripe.
If you develop symptoms after booking an appointment, please contact the clinic and we can reschedule.
